Services for Transfer And Re-entry Students
- Services for Transfer and Re-entry Students (STARS) provides resources for students as parents. If you are an undergraduate student and also a parent you are considered a "re-entry" student.
- STARS offers a free meal plan lottery for student parents. Please contact starsprograms@ucsc.edu for more information.
- STARS facilitates a Parent listserv. To get on that list and be notified of upcoming events and resources, contact starsprograms@ucsc.edu to subscribe.
- A student Parent Facebook Group also exists, connecting families and building community. See https://m.facebook.com/UC Santa Cruzspo/
- STARS also offers undergraduate scholarships for students who are parents. To receive more information please contact starsprograms@ucsc.edu.
Women's Center
- The UC Santa Cruz Women’s Center provides a child-friendly space for those seeking additional resources. The Center also has a comfortable, walk-in lactation room open to all students.
Family Student Housing
- Family Student Housing hosts events open to students who are parents. You may subscribe to the event calendar here.
