Dear UCSC community,
From April 3-7, the Dean of Students Office in the Division of Student Affairs and Success will welcome five finalists for a newly created leadership position, Associate Dean of Students & Director of Student Conduct and Conflict Education. The transformative leader selected for this position will curate and sustain the university’s new approach to student conduct, which will focus on restorative, educational, and alternative modes of resolution. During each candidate’s campus interview day, we will offer an open forum which all faculty, staff, and students may attend either in-person or virtually.
We will post the schedule, location, and Zoom links for campus forums to this document, as well as the names, résumés, and cover letters for each candidate. We will update the document as needed before, during, and after the finalist visits.
